Rutgers University Global Snow Lab maps, figures and tabular data are currently in the process of being updated to Northern Hemisphere SCE CDR v01r01. This is the latest version, now available at NCEI.

2015 Annual Report

Annual snow cover extent (SCE) over Northern Hemisphere lands averaged 24.6 million square kilometers in 2015. This is 0.5 million sq. km less than the 46-year average, and ranks 2015 as having the 36th most extensive cover on record... [download]
